Everyone wants to be rich. This is just a fact of life that everyone wants to put their money worries behind them, and be able to afford whatever they want. Alas, you’re not there yet. Not even close. Why? Because you don’t know the real difference between the haves, and the have nots. And here’s that difference: your thinking. It’s the way you think about money that’ll either make you money, or keep you poor. So here’s the top things you need to change your thinking about when it comes to making money in order to become rich.
Need To Be Born Rich
If you think you need to be born rich, then you don’t understand what kind of society we live in. We have capitalism for a reason. It’s to create a free-market so that everyone has an opportunity to rise to the top. The first step is to lose the mentality that we still live in a caste system, where only those that are rich are born that way.
Not Smart Enough
Some people think that because they lack enough education, that that somehow makes them dumb, and kills their chance at making it big. But just a friendly reminder; the creators of Facebook, IKEA, Dell Computers, and Microsoft all dropped out of school.
You Lack Faith
Know what one of the main differences is between the rich and the poor? The rich believe that they can do it. They have faith in themselves where others are full of doubt.
It’s Not How Much You Make
Here’s what the rich know that the poor don’t. It’s not how much you make, it’s how much you keep. Just like how they say in basketball “The best offense is a good defense” – the best way to grow your money is to save it.
Have To Work More Hours
This thinking is not only wrong, but it’ll burn you out – quick! When it comes to making more money, don’t work more – invest more. Housing. The stock market, the trick is putting your money into something that’ll make it grow while you sleep.
Afraid To Fail
Some people are so afraid to fail, they act as if they take even the smallest of risks that they’ll end up homeless or something. Here’s the thing, failure is a natural part of life. Don’t fear it, embrace it. Because with every failure comes a lesson, a lesson that can be used in the future to help you succeed.
Hanging With The Wrong People
Remember how when you were young your parents would warn you not to hang out with the wrong crowd? Well we’re warning you again. Hang out with people that have a negative or loser mentality when it comes to money, and it will absolutely drag you down. If you remember anything, remember this: you’re the sum of the 5 people you hang out with most.
You Resent The Rich
Ok, so you saw what those pigs on wall street did back in 2008 that tanked the markets, causing millions to lose their jobs, homes, savings – everything. It’s easy to hate and resent the rich. But if you want to have your own wealth, you’ve got to get over it because that resentment for the rich will make you resent the very thing that you want – more money.
