Storage Almost Full

If you’re getting the “Storage Almost Full” message, the go Settings > General > Storage > Manage Storage and find out exactly what’s taking up the most space. For many, it’s photos and videos. If that fails, then go Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage and delete your outdated backup.

Battery Is Always Low

If you find you’re always low on juice, then go Settings > General > Battery and switch on Low Power Mode. Also, turn off Wi-Fi assist under Settings > Cellular. Now, if you really want max power, switch to Grayscale mode under Settings > Accessibility.

You Dropped It In Water

So you had to use your phone while using the bathroom. No problem. If you dropped it in the porcelain throne and your phone is off, DO NOT try and turn it on. You’ll cause it to short circuit. Rare but it happens. People do forget their passcodes. Unfortunately, you’re going to have to erase all your data and start over. To do this, simply connect your phone to your computer, holding both the power and home button until you see the recover screen pictured here. Then hit Restore.
